Plum and Italian bergamot open the fragrance, spiced immediately by pink pepper from Peru and Indian cardamom. Rose, jasmine, iris and heliotrope take over next, with French lavender and Ivory Coast ginger keeping the floral heart from turning sweet. The base takes center stage: Madagascar vanilla and tonka bring warmth, cedarwood and vetiver hold it grounded, and patchouli, cistus and incense add a smoky, resinous trail that lingers. Warm-spicy and balsamic notes lead; floral, but never a light one.
