Orange opens Dark Ruby bright, with incense giving it a smoky, earthy touch. Raspberry and caramel carry the heart, patchouli grounding what could otherwise turn too sweet. The base is where it earns its name. Leather, vanilla and oud settle in dark and resinous, the kind of base that holds on skin for hours after the fruit has faded. Bright and spiced at the top, gourmand through the middle, leather and oud doing the quiet work at the end.

This perfumer works from inherited technique rather than trend. Methods passed down through generations, applied with the same care they were taught with.
